Rajendra hates wasting time in any ways. And he strictly says time is very less for all of us and we have to do many things in life, so instead of wasting time in non productive things, spend time in productive things.

a word with Rajesh

Collegechai: a very nice thought to make a note of.

Collegechai: wats ur ambition in life??…
Ambition in Life: I want to b a Professor of English in any Good university or college…

Or else we eat in our Mess (i.e. Our Canteen)

Collegechai: Do u have any plans for New Year any party or niother plans??…

Collegechai: Who is Ekant Desai??  How wld u describe urself??…

Ekant: I am an adaptable and adventurous individual who takes great pride in my ability to work in a team and motivate all those around me  to offer their best in order to meet common objectives.

I am fragile and sensitive, my thorns can prick you, but i can cure the pain….

I believe, I worry, I assume, I pretend, I think, I laugh, I cry, I feel, I love, I am “HUMAN”,

I Wont say too much – you might go and try and do a psychological analysis on me hahahahah!!!!!

My life is a long epic…. I cannot simply summarize, Who i am….

Collegechai: let collegechai lovers knw  sumthing about ur likes n dislikes??…

Ekant:  likes to play music on my Guitar & Saxophone, which was just bought a month ago. Don’t know the whole thing but i can play ( Maine Pyaar Kiya ),

I Loveeee Lamborghini Murcielago & Chevrolet Camaro which i would ” BUY ” it very soon. Oops it would not be called as ” BUYING IT ” but ” EARNING IT “.

Dislikes: I hate lier and lies alot, i remember one incident when lied in front of my father for coming late when i was in 8th STD, he was so pissed off that he banged my head into the door. From that moment he scares me alot and it should be like this way after all somebody has to take control over carelessness.

He still shouts me who if  i still make mistakes at this age too. But sometimes you know i like it, Hmmm i have started missin ma father & mother & sister, hey but don’t interpret me wrong after all i am in Ahmedabad and they are in Aamchi Mumbai.

Collegechai: U r Passionate about??….

Ekant: My Passion is music, which i can’t live without it & Ofcourse my bike, how can i forget it.

I love to go to Carter Road and Worli Sea Face it’s amazing place to hang out with your friends, No one to disturb I bring my guitar and play it in open air & also Love to see the spectators gather by, even sometimes they cheer up by singing with us together.

Collegechai: School Life or College Life???…

Ekant: ohh… my school life, naaa honestly i was very mischievous, bringing sony walkman, which was eventually confiscated by the principal  &  College life was pretty cool, 1st day of my college in L.S Raheja College was an honest boy sitting on first bench corner seat and the second day was in the last bench corner seat. I would say i was always a back bencher, but used to do ” Masti “alooottttt….. We used to mass bunk in 12th and used to go to movies. I remember one thing our vice principal Miss Mantri used to take around the whole college and we used to hide at Relief Road behind the cars and Buses.

Till Date there are only few of them which are still in contact, I pray this to god to help all these persons a better lifefull of happiness. Sorry for the person who had requested me to write something about my friends but its my private and precious moments which i don’t feel to share at this moment.

Collegechai: Y did u choose Law as a subject for further n higher studies??… n how was the experience frm being the notorious to the studious chap??….

Collegechai: wat do u like to do in ur spare time??…

Ekant: I play my guitar and now m learning to play Saxophone in my spare time n chill out wit ma frmds.

Collegechai: Wat wld u choose frm this choclates, dance or books??…

Ekant: I would like to choose Dance and Books because its creates knowledge and creativity at the same time. People who all are reading might have started giving bad words ki sala kitna phek raha hai. But ab acha lagta hai feels good to listen to all the elderlies who used to shout when we were in school n college.

Collegechai: wat If u come to knw tht today is the last day on the earth??…

Ekant: If i knew today was my last day on earth i would spend it with all my loved ones, near and dear, as i feel they help us in this journey of our life… where we have reached and to give them moment of appreciation by thanking all of them to Stand By My Side….

One special msg to all my dear F.R.I.E.N.D.S

“Love You All” 🙂

College Masti…

Currently studying in SYBMM and njoyin her  college life to the core.

One word which describes Neha is “Studious” (hehehehe…. Think she’s kidding me.)

“Some say she is hyper,

Some say she has motherly nature.

But what they don’t know is,

It’s just a caring nature.”

Collegechai: Do u bunk ur lectures??… Y??… n also 5 silly rsn u give aftr bunking.

Three phases of my life:

On Wednesday 8th’Sept I met a person who in her childhood was very notorious and now is very opposite to it…

“it was all fun n frolic for her” as she mentions while chatting wit me n sharing with me the most amazing moments tht she had spent while in School and College days…

Manisha Nighoskar who is currently working in a  Reputed BPO as a Senior Associate & Team Lead and also a Teacher by profession.

A Very active person, sporty, excited for every new things coming across…

and when she came to knw abot Collegechai she said.. “I would surely like to share the amazing Moments & Events spent in My School days and College days.” and the conversation betwn us went for next hr…

First Phase of my Life was My school life…

MY SCHOOL MEMORIES:

Memories of my school life are vivid and for that matter it is very much

the same for most of us. For me they have been the precious years of my life. Happiness,

sadness and other emotions, or even feel affection for , we all can find in our school time.

My first school was Universal High School in Goregaon where I did my Jr. and Sr. KG.

It was all fun and frolic for me there.

The most important time in school would be the

Interval (wat we generally call as recess or time out) where we would dig into each other’s Tiffin boxes and shared whatever we had

bought.

Then I moved to my next school “Vivek Vidyalaya” and enrolled myself

in 1st standard. I spent 10 years of my life in this school. Life started afresh here, new

friends, new teachers and completely new environment. For me going to school was more

about meeting my friends and sharing day-to-day events with them. I was a very talkative

student and the people who see or know me now won’t believe it. There always used to

be a common remark in my Calendar that she is very talkative. The friend circle to which

I belonged was called the ‘Tapoori group’.

Guys believe me talkin to Manisha n knowing about her school memories was jst fun n there I tend to ask her

Q:What was the craziest thing u had ever done in ur school life??...

Manisha: When I was appearing for my X exams I used to sit late at night to study. Once I was studying and had a pencil in my hand and i just colored the toe nail of my dad who was fast asleep.

Next day I forgot about it. My dad took his bath and all of a sudden he noticed that his toe nail had turned completely black. My dad got so afraid that he felt that blood had clotted in his nail and he started imagining all sorts of ailments .

I was not aware of these ongoings until my Mom told me as to what had happened. Then I realized what I had done the previous night and told my dad about it and then you can imagine how he must have scolded me.

He started yelling that whether you study at night or do all this stupidity and It become kind of a prank which we started telling everyone from my family members to all my friends…

We all gave a tough time to our teachers but they still loved us. Altogether it was an eventful journey. The loving and caring words of

my teachers, their encouraging words will always stay with me till the end. Those happy

moments I will treasure in my heart till the last. I am still in touch with a few of my

school friends. Everybody is busy in his or her lives but still we do find time to meet and

look back on the days of joy we spend together. And here is my childhood photograph…

Then came the next Phase of my life thats College Life n I was the free bird to fly my own heights…

My College Life:

My College days were also awesome… but by this time I was little serious as regards to my carrier and studies… but no doubt we had fun… spent very good time with friends… made new friends n soon…

Q: From which college u have completed ur graduation??… and how were you at ur studies??…

Manisha: I have done my graduation from Patkar College” which is located in Goregaon (W)… I studied hard and enjoyed like anything…

Q: wat r u most afraid of??…

Manisha: Cockroaches… I hate them…

Q: Karma & Kismat to u is??…

Manisha:. Karma is what is in your hands and Kismat  well I have no control over it so why bother. I believe in giving 100% to any kind of work given to me and well it does pay if done with sincerity.

Q:  which is ur fav cartoon??.. do u still watch it??…

Manisha:.What else but Tom & Jerry and I still watch it and enjoy thoroughly.

Q: Ur first crush??…

Manisha: Well in college there was this guy and he is still in touch with me who was infatuated and did all kinds of antics to impress me..

Q: So wat did u njoy the most College or Schooling??…

Manisha: My school days were more enjoyable than college since my dad was the vice principal of the college there were restrictions and all professors knew me personally so obviously there was no scope for Maza & Masti.

During my college I also worked in a Charted Accountants firm which gave me ample knowledge and even  helped me out in understanding  Accounts as a subject.

I did my CS (company secretary course)… at tht moment I felt tht every thing thts happening wit me was very much serious kinds n I wantd sum masti

I reminded of my college days and I decided to be a teacher so tht I can be in touch and feel college days and school days again not as a student but atleast as a teacher… sounds silly but I really enjoyed it… hehehehe…

And then comes My Third phase of life where I was out in the competitive and challenging world… where every peson I met is different and every moment I spent was totally different…

I am here working with reputed BPO as a  Senior Associate & Team Lead….

Guys talking to Manisha n hearing to her experiences and adventures moments in her college and school days was awesome… 🙂

I even gave manisha her fav choclate and ended up the conversation…. as it is my style hehehehe 🙂

Shoutt…

It was Tuesday, 10.45 am when I reached “Jai Hind” College, which is situated at a very beautiful place near Arabian sea which is considered to be a very happening place to hang out with friends.
“Jai Hind” College has been ranked among the top 50 colleges in India in the Science as well as Arts faculty, and Jai Hind students truly believe that nothing is impossible and that the sky is the limit for them.
So I was very eager to meet the young chaps’ n cute faces of this college.
I was standing outside the college gate, wondering how to get in cause it’s a known fact that u need to have an identity card to enter the college, but some how I mustered courage and got thru the gate.
The moment I entered the college I felt like I am in this place full of joy and happiness.
I saw few students filling up the form n few committee members behind others to get their names for participation in the upcoming events. I introduced myself and asked what the event was going on.
I took the information from Divya and Poonam (who are F Y BSC student) & are the members of dotcom club.
There are three teams: “Hindi Parishad”, “SDU-Social Dramatic Union’ s”, & “.com club” (dotcom club).
Each teams organizes the days and the events.
Like on 24th’Sept “.com team” is celebrating Chocolate day and Hindi Parishad also have their events coming in this month.
“SHOUTT” is the intra college festival organized by Jai Hind College, Mumbai. In addition to providing entertainment this unique festival also showcases talent of the students.
Some of the events in Shoutt are Library art, quiz, stand up comedy, painting, fashion designing, photography, singing, dancing etc.
Later then Divya introduced me to their seniors Sanmesh, Siddharth & Sandesh. They really helped me out in getting full information of the upcoming events and days.
Before we could discuss on this topic more a cute girl Prabhuti came up to me, she wanted me to buy chocolates for any one I know there, cos the upcoming event was Chocolate day and any one can dedicate chocolates to their loved ones & friends with a message card.
I told her that I wasn’t from Jai Hind but then too she insisted me to buy chocolates and with that she gave me message card in that I had to write name to whom I want to give the chocolates. Here at this point of time I behaved selfishly and told her that I would buy chocolates for her, but in return she has to help me getting more details of the events and also click few photographs. She was ecstatic after hearing this and called all her friends and acquaintances for a snap.
Prabhuti is a smart girl and her marketing tactics were also good cos in no time I had to pay 100bucks to her for the chocolates. Every one from that group gathered around me to view the snap, it was all very funny when some one from that group asked me whether I was from media or whether I am a professional photographer…. Hearing this I was amazed…
one thing I liked in them they were very comfortable in sharing their things with me. There I got the invitation to attend their college festivals and events, n if possible then click photographers.
That made me more than happy… that moment I told them that I would love to do this.
My talks with Sanmesh continued and others were then bussy with their preparation work…
Sanmesh Kalyanpur who is the head coordinator of the event and a National Bravery Award Winner in year 2004. He handles “.com club” and assigns work to other members.
I asked him how did u get this position “Head Coordinator”?
Well I am good with my friends and in group & from my childhood i like to handle things…
Which is the funniest thing which u have come across while handling these events?
Most funniest thing is finding volunteers…. When I ask people to volunteer any event they make faces and max of them are not ready to do that. They avoid it, but at the same point of time I ask them to volunteer for inter-college computer gaming events then all are ready for it.
All are crazy for computer gaming… & even I am.
So coming back to Sanmesh bravery event, he was also awarded with National Bravery Award in year 2004. he saved his own sister and few others drowning in floods.
Hats off to u Sanmesh and great work….
He also invited me for the upcoming events and was glad sharing these things with me.
U can check out the past and the upcoming events of Jai Hind college on
http://www.jaihindcollege.com/events.htm and also contact Sanmesh Kalyanpur on 9324949461 & Siddhart Bhatiya on 9867286962 to know more for the events.

Parties are the best way to get together and have fun. While family reunions help you stay connected with your relatives, friends’ bashes enable pals to get together and know more about each other. Whenever you throw a party, whether for family members or friends, it is important to plan a few activities beforehand.

It not only ensures that the guests have a good time, but also help the ‘not-so-close-ones’ explore more about one another. One of the best activities is to have people sit together in a group and then ask some fun questions from them. This will help people, especially the shy ones, to open up and also bring up some interesting stories of the past.

So again I start my journey to meet new faces, n make new friends who can come and share their interesting past & present. As some one said it very correct that “strangers are just friends waiting to happen.”

Before that  I Would like to tell u about my college experience in short.

The first few days of college seemed just the same as my first two years of school. All things were going well, and things seemed to be going as I hoped they would. Then, one day I met these friends of mine, really interesting, humorous, crazy. I would say we all cant stay quiet for just few minutes also (all talkative), after meeting them I felt that now something exciting would happen,  each day would be full of surprises,  and yes it happened. We just enjoyed five years to the fullest, if any 1 ask me to spend more five years with the same group (of 22 fanatics) and in the same college then I am all set 4 it.

Those days were lovely in college ( L S Raheja College) : )

Today I entered college as an X-student, near by gate there was one group who I guess had bunked their lectures n were enjoying their snacks.

I just smiled and started walking ahead the first surprise was that our watchman (kaka what every 1 calls) recognized me and let me go in without identity card, I just waved at him n went in.

I went to the office area, staff room thought some one would meet me there but all were in lectures, I went to the cafeteria, the coolest place in our college where v spent max time playing games, teasing, yelling and which was our adda. Hehehe…

I was astonished to see my friends there; even they were surprised to see me. This was the second surprise of the day n I said to myself that today we again gonna rock.

We shared few things with each other cos we met after few months…

My palsOops… let me first introduce u with them, from the left 1st is Ankita Gala (Pii) at present into Fashion designing, Charmi Mistry (cham) pursuing diploma course in HR and also working with recruitment team & Avani Gala (Poo) into fashion designing. i call them pii, cham and poo.

They were my juniors, finished their graduation in 2008 batch. We became friends when I was in third year, Good pals and very special for me, aise toh all friends of mine are special in some or the other way. we were really glad to meet each other like this.

I was hungry like a bear so went to “Anna” sandwichwala and ordered to satiate my appetite soon. I was feeling that again I was in college n still there waiting for the rest of the pals to come n meet me. Then we four decided to go for lunch.sandwichwala

Before that again we went to the staff room to meet our teachers and this time we met our well-known professor who teach Law Mr. Lamani (Lamani sir), a very good person by nature and also very strict. I use to imitate him; he had caught me once doing this hehehehe….

I spoke to few students,

Collegchai: asked them how they feel being in the college and are u enjoying these days or no?

Anjali: yes we all enjoy a lot; we are here just for fun.

Collegechai: what about lectures? Is your name anytime in black list?

Tushar: dude normally we don’t attend any lectures n yes I feel proud that I found my name in black list n my parents were also called for this. But its fine I enjoy : )

Wow… we enjoyed all this a lot after 2yrs, and also seeing the exuberance of the present students we were reminded of our own college days which were a nostalgic moment for me.at tapri

As the time passed it was 12.30pm, these girls wanted to buy few Kurtis for Navratri. We shopped for few hours. All were hungry as well as exhausted so we choose a near by restaurant “Shabri” which is well known for its Pav bhaji , this was also our adda we use to go Shabri most of the time after college to have Pav bhaji and paper dosa. And the funniest thing is every time we ordered only 1 paper dosa  for four people or more people. And enjoy that like nithin.

So again we ordered paper dosa and four of us enjoyed it.

This day also added to our memories and this gave us a feeling of déjà vu

I don’t remember who got along with whom first.
All I can remember is all of us together…always.”
